On 4 March 2023 the delegation of the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group spent its fourth day on the 35 acres, each delegate greeted with a Haryanvi pagdi tied on and a tilak on the forehead, with dhol and nagada at the gate.</p><p>Dainik Bhaskar, Amar Ujala, ETV Bharat and News18 all carried the day. The Chief Minister&rsquo;s Office published the January visit itself, and TotalTV carried it the same afternoon.</p><h2 id="the-chief-minister-came-in-january-and-said-why">The Chief Minister Came In January, And Said Why</h2><p>Manohar Lal, then Haryana&rsquo;s Chief Minister, came to Pratapgarh Farms on 13 January 2023 to see the state&rsquo;s preparations for the G20 meetings Haryana would host. The release his office published the same day records what he did: he watched the farm&rsquo;s activities in sports, arts, culture, food, agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry, and he greeted the people of the state on Lohri and Makar Sankranti.</p><p>That release records what he said as well. Village tourism, the Chief Minister told the press that afternoon, is promoted through this farm. That is a state naming one farm as the way it shows rural Haryana to its visitors, and TotalTV carried it within hours.</p><h2 id="the-day-the-delegation-came">The Day The Delegation Came</h2><p>By the first week of March the farm had been dressed for the visit. Dainik Bhaskar reported on 4 February that piddhe, the Haryanvi sweet, were being made to go home with the guests as gifts. Surya Samachar reported on 21 February that the farm was ready and that the visitors would meet Haryanvi culture in it. On 1 March Amar Ujala had Deputy Commissioner Shakti Singh walking the preparations with his team, and the plan to tie a Haryanvi pagdi on every guest.</p><p>What the delegation met on the day is consistent across the reports: a tilak on the forehead, a pagdi tied on, flowers, dhol and nagada, and the dishes of the Haryanvi kitchen. ETV Bharat, published the evening before, described a farm fully prepared. Four days later News18 recorded the delegates leaving with a thank you for Haryana.</p><h2 id="what-the-reporting-establishes">What The Reporting Establishes</h2><table><thead><tr><th>What the reporting establishes</th><th>Where it was published</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>The G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group delegation spent 4 March 2023 at the farm</td><td><a href="https://www.bhaskar.com/local/haryana/jhajjar/news/jhajjar-haryanvi-culture-g-20-foreign-guest-pratapgarh-farm-131001513.html">Dainik Bhaskar</a>,<a href="https://www.amarujala.com/haryana/jhajjar-bahadurgarh/delegation-of-g-20-countries-reached-pratapgarh-farm-in-jhajjar-2023-03-04">Amar Ujala</a>,<a href="https://www.etvbharat.com/hindi/haryana/state/jhajjar/g20-delegates-welcome-in-jhajjar-g20-delegation-visits-pratapgarh-farm-in-jhajjar-latest-news-g-20-summit-2023/haryana20230303192544820820177">ETV Bharat</a>,<a href="https://hindi.news18.com/news/haryana/jhajjar-ncr-g20-summit-gurugram-foreign-guests-return-home-saying-thanku-haryana-bahadurgarh-5500019.html">News18</a></td></tr><tr><td>Delegates were welcomed with a Haryanvi pagdi and a tilak, with dhol and nagada</td><td><a href="https://www.amarujala.com/haryana/jhajjar-bahadurgarh/delegation-of-g-20-countries-reached-pratapgarh-farm-in-jhajjar-2023-03-04">Amar Ujala</a>,<a href="https://www.bhaskar.com/local/haryana/jhajjar/news/jhajjar-haryanvi-culture-g-20-foreign-guest-pratapgarh-farm-131001513.html">Dainik Bhaskar</a>,<a href="https://hindi.news18.com/news/haryana/jhajjar-ncr-g20-summit-gurugram-foreign-guests-return-home-saying-thanku-haryana-bahadurgarh-5500019.html">News18</a></td></tr><tr><td>The Chief Minister visited on 13 January 2023 and said village tourism is promoted through the farm</td><td><a href="https://haryanacmoffice.gov.in/press-release/13-january-2023-0">CMO Haryana</a>,<a href="https://www.totaltv.in/panchkula-news-in-hindi-in-view-of-the-preparations-for-the-g-20-meeting-cm-khattar-visited-the-pratapgarh-farm/">TotalTV</a></td></tr><tr><td>The farm was dressed for the guests, and piddhe went home with them as gifts</td><td><a href="https://www.bhaskar.com/local/haryana/jhajjar/news/pratapgarh-farm-being-decorated-for-g20-guests-will-be-given-as-a-gift-130879627.html">Dainik Bhaskar</a>,<a href="https://suryasamachar.com/2023/02/21/pratapgarh-farm-ready-to-welcome-g20-delegates-32010/">Surya Samachar</a></td></tr><tr><td>The delegates left thanking Haryana</td><td><a href="https://hindi.news18.com/news/haryana/jhajjar-ncr-g20-summit-gurugram-foreign-guests-return-home-saying-thanku-haryana-bahadurgarh-5500019.html">News18</a></td></tr><tr><td>The Ministry of Tourism recognised the farm as a Best Tourism Village of India</td><td><a href="https://newsonair.gov.in/world-tourism-day-talao-village-of-jhajjar-district-recognised-as-best-tourism-village-2023-in-bronze-category/">News On AIR</a></td></tr></tbody></table><h2 id="the-ministry-of-tourism-named-it-a-best-tourism-village">The Ministry Of Tourism Named It A Best Tourism Village</h2><p>The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, named Pratapgarh Farms a Best Tourism Village of India in 2023. The farm sits near Delhi NCR on highway-connected roads the whole way, and everything a family needs for the day is inside one gate — the adventure course, the carnival, the animals, the villages, the gardens and the kitchen. A farm day is a small number of things done properly: the space to move, an activity for every hour, unlimited food, and a record you can check before you leave home. The rest of this page takes those four in order.</p><h2 id="35-acres-and-the-whole-day-inside-one-gate">35 Acres, And The Whole Day Inside One Gate</h2><p>Thirty-five acres, gated, with the playing fields, the activity arenas, the lake, the gardens and the dining halls inside one boundary and a short walk apart. Haveli-style halls and rural huts give shade when the sun is high. The lake is the quietest hour of the afternoon, with Boating in the swan pedal boats. The walk back runs through the Biodiversity Park and Theme Garden — the Ramayan Heritage Walk, Shakti Vatt Vraksh, the Herb Garden, Nakshatra Vatika, Navgriha Vatika, Triphla Kunj, Panchvati and Bodh Vatika — with the Hanuman Ji and Shiv Ji temples and the Sita Kuti along the way, and 150 species of trees overhead. Pratapgarh Farms runs 150+ activities across 15 categories, every one of them open to every guest and all of them included, which is why a family that arrives at 09:30 and leaves at 17:30 still has a list left over. The farm is open all days, 09:30 to 17:30, and the gates close at 17:30, so everyone is home the same evening. A day here is the<a href="/family/">day picnic near Delhi NCR</a> families plan for months and finish in one afternoon.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/swan-pedal-boats-on-the-lake.webp" alt="Four guests pedalling a blue swan-shaped pedal boat across the green water of the lake at Pratapgarh Farms, with two more boats behind them" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Boating on the lake, the quietest hour of the day.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="the-adventure-course-the-water-and-the-playing-fields">The Adventure Course, The Water And The Playing Fields</h2><p>The adventure course is where the day starts and where most of the morning goes: Zipline and Flying Disc Zipline, Sky Cycling, Sky Skating, the Sky Roller, the Commando Net, the Swinging Burma Bridge, the Inverted A Rope Bridge, the Tyre Wall Traverse, the Happy Hopper, the Double Block Swing, the Cat Walk, the Elephant Walk, the Swinging Plank, the Zig Zag Walk and the Tarzan Jump. Then the water — Water Zorbing, Body Zorbing and the Rain Dance. The sports side runs Mini Golf, the Bowling Alley, Frisbee Disc Target, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Gulli-Danda, Pithoo, Zapminton, the Sack Race, the Lemon Spoon Race, the Matka Race and the Bhul Bhulaiya maze. The Indoor Games Pavillion holds Pool Table, Air Hockey, Foosball, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Jenga, Ring Toss and Cricket Darts — the floor to walk to when the afternoon is at its hottest. Every one of them is included in the day, so the family moves through them at its own pace.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/frisbee-disc-target-in-the-sports-arena.webp" alt="A woman throwing a yellow frisbee disc inside the netted sports arena at Pratapgarh Farms, with two guests and a staff member waiting beyond her" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Frisbee Disc Target, on the sports side of the farm.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="the-carnival-the-toy-train-and-the-house-of-illusion">The Carnival, The Toy Train And The House Of Illusion</h2><p>The carnival zone runs the Frog Ride, the Dragon Ship, the Ferris Wheel, the Bull Ride, Melt Down, Hungry Hippos, the Bungee Run, the Bungee Basket and Human Foosball. The Toy Train Ride, the Bhul Bhulaiya maze and the Mirror Maze keep the youngest guests busy, and the Children&rsquo;s Play Park has Monkey Bars, Swings, Slides, Spring Riders, Spinners and See-Saws a short walk from all of it. The House of Illusion holds the Ames Room, the Human Kaleidoscope, the Beuchet Chair and the Head on Platter, with the Infinity Well and the Vortex Tunnel beside them. The Haunted House is a state-of-the-art attraction guaranteed to get your heart racing. The Shaurya Gaatha Army Museum and the Farmers Heritage Agricultural Museum sit a short walk away, with the Terracotta of India Display Gallery and the Haryana Occupations Museum alongside them, and the Magic Show, the Puppet Show and the Bioscope run through the afternoon.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/toy-train-ride-at-pratapgarh-farms.webp" alt="The green Toy Train Ride running along its track beside a lawn and a stone wall at Pratapgarh Farms" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The Toy Train Ride, one of the farm's five headline draws.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/frog-ride-in-the-carnival-zone.webp" alt="Guests riding painted blue and yellow frog-shaped cars on the Frog Ride in the carnival zone at Pratapgarh Farms" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The Frog Ride, in the carnival zone.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/dragon-ship-ride-at-pratapgarh-farms.webp" alt="A dragon-headed ship ride swinging high on its pendulum arm with guests seated inside, above the farm's rooftops" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The Dragon Ship, swinging over the carnival zone.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="the-village-half-the-gau-gram-and-the-craft-yard">The Village Half: The Gau Gram And The Craft Yard</h2><p>At the Vedic Gau Gram, guests feed the desi cows by hand and make Ghee and Butter from Milk themselves, working the wooden bilona the slow way — curd to makhan, makhan to ghee — with the Chacch poured into kulhads and handed round. The animal farm holds desi cows, Murrah buffaloes, camels, goats, emu, guinea fowl, ducks, chickens and rabbits, and the Camel Ride and the Camel Cart Ride start from beside them. In the village yard, guests turn a pot at the potter&rsquo;s wheel, weave on the Charkha and the handloom, tie a Pagdhi, make a Peedha, grind grain on the Chakki, take Mehendi, and try Panihari Chaal, the balancing of water pails. The Been-Dholki-Nagada Dance, the Puppet Show and the Magic Show run through the afternoon, and the Handicraft Stalls sell what the yard makes. The farms are the other half of the day — Ploughing, Sowing, Reaping and Winnowing, the Vermicomposting Plant and the Biogas Plant — with the farmers who work them on hand to explain each one.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/desi-cow-at-the-vedic-gau-gram.webp" alt="A brown desi cow standing in the sand enclosure of the cattle yard at Pratapgarh Farms, with a member of the farm's team at the rail behind it" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The desi cows at the Vedic Gau Gram.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/guests-meeting-the-camels-at-pratapgarh-farms.webp" alt="Two schoolgirls in uniform leaning over a rail to stroke a camel at Pratapgarh Farms" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Meeting the camels, a short walk from the cattle yard.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/haryanvi-performer-in-the-village-yard.webp" alt="A performer in a green Haryanvi ghaghra balancing stacked pots on her head in the village yard at Pratapgarh Farms, with guests seated on the ground around her" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The village yard, where the folk performances run all afternoon.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/best-farm-in-haryana/seated-sage-statue-at-pratapgarh-farms.webp" alt="A large painted statue of a seated white-bearded sage in saffron robes on a decorated plinth among the trees, with strings of flags overhead and a visitor standing in front of it" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The garden statuary on the walk through the farm.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="unlimited-food-from-the-first-chai-to-the-last-jalebi">Unlimited Food, From The First Chai To The Last Jalebi</h2><p>Mazedar Nashta, the breakfast, runs 09:30 to 12:00: a choice of Stuffed Paranthas with white farm fresh Makhan, Poori Chole or Chole Bhature, Aloo or Pethe ki Sabji, Dahi, Achaar and Chatni. On 4 March 2023 the delegation of the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group left its meeting in Delhi NCR and spent the day on the farm. The group&rsquo;s first meeting on Indian soil had run from 1 to 3 March, and the fourth day was given to the delegation as a day out. Haryana&rsquo;s Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, had come to the farm in January to inspect the preparations himself. This is what the delegates did between one o&rsquo;clock and half past four that afternoon.</p><h2 id="haryana-welcomed-them-with-a-pagdi-and-a-tilak">Haryana Welcomed Them With A Pagdi And A Tilak</h2><p>The buses came in around one o&rsquo;clock, and the welcome started at the gate. Every delegate had a Haryanvi pagdi tied on, a tilak placed on the forehead, and a line of women in ghaghri and odhni singing the group in. Haryana Tourism&rsquo;s welcome banner stood over the entrance with the flags of the visiting nations beneath it, and each guest signed the farm&rsquo;s visitor register on the way through — the ordinary first minute of a day at the farm, run for an extraordinary set of guests.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-welcomed-with-a-haryanvi-pagdi.webp" alt="A delegate in a navy jacket with folded hands being welcomed at the farm gate by two men in Haryanvi pagdis, with marigolds along the wall" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The welcome at the gate, 4 March 2023.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/women-welcoming-the-g20-delegation-in-haryanvi-dress.webp" alt="Women in bright Haryanvi dress with a brass kalash, singing and clapping to welcome the G20 delegation inside the farm" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The delegation is sung in through the farm gateway.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegate-signing-the-visitor-register.webp" alt="A delegate in a red bandhani pagdi signing the visitor register at a desk under a Haryana Tourism welcome banner" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Signing in, as every guest does.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="at-the-vedic-gau-gram-they-fed-the-cows-by-hand">At The Vedic Gau Gram, They Fed The Cows By Hand</h2><p>The first stop was the Vedic Gau Gram, the farm&rsquo;s own cow village. The delegates fed the desi cows and the Sahiwal cows themselves, holding out gur and roti, and went along the pen rail to meet the Murrah buffaloes — the breed this part of Haryana is known for. The gaushala runs as part of the farm&rsquo;s daily work, and the milk from these cows is what the farm&rsquo;s own ghee is made from. The<a href="/blog/murrah-buffalo-pride-of-haryana/">Murrah buffaloes of Haryana</a> are the section of the day guests still ask about most.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegate-feeding-a-cow-at-the-gaushala.webp" alt="A delegate in a red bandhani pagdi holding out a piece of roti to a brown cow at the Pratapgarh Vedic Gaushala, with a host in a white pagdi beside her" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Feeding the cows at the Vedic Gau Gram.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-meeting-a-murrah-buffalo.webp" alt="Two delegates leaning over an orange rail to stroke a black Murrah buffalo at the Pratapgarh Vedic Gaugram" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Meeting the Murrah buffaloes.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/murrah-buffaloes-showcased-to-the-g20-delegation.webp" alt="A host in a white pagdi hand-feeding a black Murrah buffalo while a cameraman films, with three more Murrahs standing at the rail behind" width="1224" height="816" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The Murrahs, shown to the delegation.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="the-bilona-the-chacch-and-the-farms-own-ghee">The Bilona, The Chacch And The Farm&rsquo;s Own Ghee</h2><p>Then they made butter. The bilona is a wooden churn worked with a rope, and the delegates took turns at it with both hands on the cord, the way it has been done in this belt for centuries. Making Ghee &amp; Butter from Milk is on the farm&rsquo;s own list of what a guest can do here, so the group did it the slow way — curd to makhan, makhan to ghee — and the Chacch that came off it was poured into kulhads and handed round.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-working-the-bilona.webp" alt="A delegate and a host seated together at a wooden bilona churn, both pulling the rope, with terracotta pots stacked on the wall behind" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Working the bilona, the rope-driven wooden churn.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-trying-buttermilk-in-kulhads.webp" alt="Two delegates drinking buttermilk from terracotta kulhads and smiling, with other delegates in suits behind them" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Chacch, served in kulhads.</figcaption></figure><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-seeing-products-of-the-vedic-gaugram.webp" alt="A host presenting trays of round ghee and jaggery products to delegates in colourful pagdis at the Vedic Gaugram" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">Ghee from the farm's own cows.</figcaption></figure><p>Before the buses left, the farm sent its own ghee home with the guests — a farm product from the same cows they had just fed, made the way they had just watched it made.</p><h2 id="the-millet-stall-in-the-international-year-of-millets">The Millet Stall, In The International Year Of Millets</h2><p>2023 was the International Year of Millets, declared by the United Nations General Assembly on India&rsquo;s proposal, and the farm had laid out a stall for the occasion: a long table of terracotta bowls with bajra, jau, moong, chana, groundnut and more of the coarse grains this belt has always grown. The delegates tasted their way down the table and asked what each grain was good for. Millets are ordinary food here and always have been — Makee Bajre ki roti with desi Ghee and Bajre Ki Khichri with Ghee Bura are everyday dishes at Pratapgarh Farms, and the stall was showing the delegation the same grain the kitchen cooks with.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-at-the-millet-stall.webp" alt="Delegates in pagdis looking at terracotta bowls of bajra, moong, chana and other millets ranged along a table at the farm" width="1216" height="811" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The millet stall, in the International Year of Millets.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="the-crafts-of-the-village-yard">The Crafts Of The Village Yard</h2><p>A yard of craftsmen had been set up for the day, and the delegation spread out across it. Two men were making a charpai and a moodha from scratch, and a delegate sat down beside them and took a turn at weaving the charpai. Alongside that: Charkha Weaving and Handloom Weaving with a chadar growing on the loom, Pagdhi Tying, Peedha Making, Pottery and the stone Chakki. The farm had put out its old implements for the visit — the ukhhal and musal, the peedhi, the khaat, and brass toekni, glass, thali and katori beside the old daman, kurta, ghaghri and juti. The brass and the clothing held the delegates longest; they picked the vessels up, turned them over, and told the craftsmen the handicrafts were the environmentally sound choice. The Puppet Show, the Magic Show and the Been-Dholki-Nagada Dance ran through the afternoon.</p><h2 id="camel-carts-bullock-carts-archery-and-a-turn-at-the-plough">Camel Carts, Bullock Carts, Archery And A Turn At The Plough</h2><p>The rides and the fields were open all afternoon. The delegates took the Camel Ride and the Camel Cart Ride, queued for the Bullock Cart Ride and the Tractor Ride, and tried their hand at Archery and at Pounding Grain — bajra in a wooden mortar, which is harder work than it looks. A few went out to Plough and to draw water at the panaghat well, and the nursery of medicinal plants drew a small crowd of its own. Lunch was served in the middle of it: a pure Haryanvi thali, cooked exactly as it is for every other guest on the farm. The kitchen&rsquo;s Dopahar Ka Shahi Khanna, which runs 13:30–15:30, is Missi and Tandoori Roti with Sarson Ka Saag, Rajma, Kadhi, Jeera Rice and Paneer Shahi, with jaggery and chatni, and Suji ka Halwa to finish.</p><figure class="figure"><img src="/images/posts/g20-delegation-visit/g20-delegates-and-hosts-with-decorated-camels.webp" alt="A delegate standing with seven farm hosts in orange pagdis and white kurtas, all with folded hands, in front of three camels decorated with coloured tassels" width="1600" height="1067" loading="lazy" decoding="async"><figcaption class="figure__caption">The camels, with the farm's own team.</figcaption></figure><h2 id="what-they-said-before-they-left">What They Said Before They Left</h2><p>The delegation&rsquo;s own words are the part worth keeping. &ldquo;Haryana is very good, thank you Haryana,&rdquo; they told the reporters. They said the cleanliness and the natural beauty of the farm were what struck them most, took videos of the craftsmen at work and said they would suggest the crafts back home, and one of them picked up a moodha and told its maker it was an amazing chair. Dainik Jagran&rsquo;s headline for the day called what the delegation saw a mini India in Jhajjar.</p><p>Pradeep Singh Phogat, who runs the farm, said at the time: &ldquo; Our team has been working around the clock to ensure that everything is perfect for their arrival… We are truly proud to represent India on the global stage in this way.&rdquo;</p><h2 id="what-the-visit-says-about-pratapgarh-farms">What The Visit Says About Pratapgarh Farms</h2><p>Pratapgarh Farms has been doing this since 2008, when the Department of Tourism, Government of Haryana approved it — one of the first farm destinations in the country, and now one the state has put in front of a G20 delegation. Here are ten reasons it is the one families come back to, and every one of them is a fact you can check before you book.</p><h2 id="1-it-is-the-biggest-and-best-picnic-place-in-delhi-ncr">1. It Is The Biggest And Best Picnic Place In Delhi NCR</h2><p>Thirty-five acres of gated farm tourism, with the playing fields, the activity arenas, the lake, the gardens and the dining halls all inside one gate and a short walk from one another. Haveli-style halls and rural huts give every family shade, and a day here needs no arranging beyond getting everyone into the car. That is the whole point of a<a href="/family/">day picnic near Delhi NCR</a>: everything a family needs for the day is already on the farm, and the day runs 09:30 to 17:30.</p><h2 id="2-150-activities-and-every-one-of-them-is-included">2. 150+ Activities, And Every One Of Them Is Included</h2><p>Pratapgarh Farms runs 150+ activities across 15 categories, and the whole of it is open to you from the moment you walk in. Every activity is included in the day, so nobody in the family sits out. Across the day you can move between them as you please — the adventure course, the water, the playing fields, the indoor games floor, the Children&rsquo;s Play Park, the farms and the gardens, the museums, the rides and the shows. A family that arrives at 09:30 and leaves at 17:30 still will not have finished the list.</p><h2 id="3-the-adventure-course-is-where-the-day-starts">3. The Adventure Course Is Where The Day Starts</h2><p>Zipline and Flying Disc Zipline, Sky Cycling, Sky Roller, Sky Skating, the Commando Net, the Swinging Burma Bridge, the Inverted A Rope Bridge, the Tyre Wall Traverse, the Tyre Tunnels, the Tarzan Jump and the Battle Rope. Everyone in the family climbs it, and the photographs from this half of the morning are the ones that end up framed. If you want to see how the hours actually fill,<a href="/blog/best-one-day-family-outing-near-delhi-ncr/">one day family outing near Delhi NCR</a> walks through the whole day from the gate to the last jalebi.</p><h2 id="4-water-zorbing-body-zorbing-the-rain-dance-and-the-lake">4. One teacher is free for every fifteen students.
